Image’In is a range of fibre cement products with a sleek, contemporary style, made to measure: planters and outdoor seating/storage boxes.

To complement our range of made-to-measure IMAGE’IN planters, we have developed a bench that doubles as a garden box for outdoor storage.
We make all our products in France to order. The IMAGE’IN fibre cement bench adapts to your dimensions and can be supplied in any colour from the RAL colour chart and in matt, satin, gloss or micronised (sanded) finishes.

# The fibre cement box

Made from Natura ® fibre cement, our IMAGE’IN outdoor bench is made to measure to suit your every need. We work directly with the designer to ensure that you receive the best possible support in defining the product.

Rot-proof and frost-prrof, these are the key qualities that make the IMAGE’IN bench box ideal for outdoor use. Fibre cement is also impervious to salty or chlorinated environments. What’s more, the fibre cement box is fairly heavy and therefore perfectly stable in windy conditions. The bottom of the box is perforated to ensure good ventilation and drainage.

# Installation

In its standard configuration, the IMAGE’IN decking box lays on the floor resting on the perimeter. However, we recommend adding the option of installation on adjustable pedestals, which will lift the box slightly off the ground, making it easier to move the chest from time to time and also facilitating maintenance of the terrace.
Other options are possible: concealed or visible handling castors if braked castors are required; provision for a floor anchoring system; or installation on an anti-puncture load distribution pad.

Various seating solutions are available:

# The wooden slat lid :

This closing solution is not watertight, but is particularly suitable for transforming your storage box into a garden bench.
The wooden top is removable and independent of the box. It is made from exotic wood and is generally available in IPE (species may vary depending on availability). As this use requires low consumption, we have chosen this precious wood for its excellent stability and remarkable longevity, which are major assets in guaranteeing good durability.

IPE is a class 5 wood species, with a density close to 1,050 kg/m3. Its colours range from yellow-brown to olive green, offering a beautiful palette of warm hues. We leave it untreated so that, over time, it turns from a light grey to a luminous silver. Its exceptional texture and natural beauty are ideal for top-of-the-range products.

However, closing solutions using French-produced timber, such as Douglas fir, are also possible. These variations can be studied on request.

This wooden seat is available in three different configurations:

• « Emerging on the sides » making it ideal for creating long, seamless seat lengths. Gripping is also made easier by a simple grip on the end.
• « Recessed » with the wooden tray integrated into the interior of the box, or
• « Overlapped on the top » Here, the wooden tray covers the entire surface of the case. Here too, you can easily combine several elements to form a long bench.

The orientation of the wood slats can also be “Longitudinal” or “Transversal“, depending on the desired aesthetic effect.

# The lacquered fibre cement seat :

This version does not offer a storage solution. This simple, all-fibre cement bench will withstand the toughest weather conditions: rain, frost, UV rays, salty or chlorinated environments, etc. This solution offers a sleek, stylish bench for all your outdoor uses.

Based on the same design as the planters, our garden chests and seats have a totally comparable look, so you can combine them to create a complete layout for your space.

# The garden bench and planter, a combined solution :

Image’In also offers planters with partial pot coverage to form planters combined with a bench section. The seat is available in lacquered fibre cement for a sleek, designer look, or in strips of exotic wood for a warmer feel.
